ON PAPER – an affordable art fair 2
ON PAPER is a contemporary art fair dedicated to works created on paper; from drawings, prints, and editions to zines, artist books, and independent publications.
The fair brings together artists, publishers, collectives, and art lovers in an open and accessible context, creating a space where contemporary art can be discovered, discussed, and collected. By focusing on works on paper and affordable editions, ON PAPER explores alternative ways of experiencing and collecting art beyond the traditional gallery format.
The first edition of ON PAPER took place in March 2026 at the Cellarium Gallery of the Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania in Cluj-Napoca, bringing together more than 30 artists and independent initiatives alongside exhibitions, talks, a book launch, and a zine-making workshop.
Following the energy and response of the first edition, ON PAPER is now preparing its second edition.
The second edition will continue to bring together artists and independent publishing practices around the possibilities of paper, as a medium for experimentation, reproduction, circulation, and exchange. We are interested in works that can be encountered directly, shared widely, and become part of personal collections.
ON PAPER is a fair about art that is close, tangible, and accessible.
